Jimbo has been involved in the tattoo industry for over 20 years and became a professional tattoo artist in 2011 after completing a traditional apprenticeship at North Hollywood Tattoo. He has also worked behind the scenes on television shows including Tattoo Nightmares and Tattoos After Dark.
While working on Tattoo Nightmares, Jimbo developed a strong passion for coverup tattooing and went on to specialize in transforming old or unwanted tattoos into new custom pieces. His experience across a wide range of styles — including traditional, black and grey, color, Japanese, anime, watercolor, and nature-inspired work — has made him highly adaptable in creating effective and artistic coverups.
He especially enjoys tattooing animals and custom illustrative designs.
